Gamescom Cologne 2010

Where to begin...Gamescom was an amazing experience - Dave and me flew over to Cologne, Germany to embark on one of gamings biggest events. As soon as we touched down on the German borders we were off to the trade fair, fulfilling a few meetings with other companies regarding QUBE. Although feeling slightly out of our depth we managed to make the most out of the trade fair; collecting business cards, meeting people and spreading the word about QUBE (Infact I think we gave out more business cards to Gamescom attendees on the streets than anywhere else!).

After we were done at the trade fair, we decided to check out if the Expo was open - and it was - and it was very empty - and there were 4 gigantic rooms filled with all the latest games and tech, so we had a great time there! The next day was a completely different story as each room was jam packed with hungry gamers excited to fill their appetite with the latest games.

As well as Gamescom we managed to cram in some sight-seeing on the last day and climbed to the top of Cologne's Cathedral - so many stairs!

KISS Goes Bowling

Last night was epic, to say the least - We drove all the way to Bristol for a night of bowling, table football, getting our faces painted (I went for Gene Simmons as per usual), drinking specially made KISS cocktails and watching awesome tribute band, Hotter Than Hell! Followed by dancing and rocking out to popular rock and heavy metal tunes - Good times!

Acting on Clean Skin and Meeting Sean Bean!

Yesterday was long and tiring but nevertheless a great experience! Awaking at 6am, we dressed up smartly and traveled to Central London to film at a Hotel. Whilst in the waiting room with many others in suits and dresses, we indulged in a free breakfast (Bacon butties etc). Soon after we ended up at a posh hotel where a full on wedding scene was present - and got filming straight away! I won't give too much away but we were involved in a stunt scene and Sean Bean was there - it was great! After more food and waiting around to act in the next scene, we managed to get a quick photo with Mr. Bean himself (Not THE Mr. Bean, Sean Bean :P). After almost 14 hours we returned home -overall it was a really good experience to see how things work behind the scenes.
